Testimonials

“As an IMG, navigating the U.S. healthcare system and residency application process can often feel overwhelming, but Dr. Karmali provided invaluable guidance throughout. He shared practical advice regarding residency programs, interviews, and personal statements, which was both reassuring and extremely helpful. What stood out most was the sincerity of his mentorship,he genuinely wants his students to succeed. I feel very fortunate to have learned from him and would highly recommend rotating with him.”

— Dr. Prasad,

International Medical Student

“Dr. Karmali is very patient and approachable, and he genuinely encourages questions and curiosity. I never felt hesitant to ask something or work through my thought process out loud. The rotation also leaves enough time for independent study, which helped me balance learning on rounds with reviewing topics afterward. It was a great experience for building confidence and getting comfortable with clinicals in a U.S. setting. This rotation has a human/empathetic component to it that is often overlooked but much needed in USMLE-Match Journey.’'
